Back Pain/ Injury Classes
These sessions are for those recovering from back pain, ME or other injury, they are much slower than standard sessions, focusing on getting very precise movements and stabilisation without causing disruption to the injured area. Due to the client group these classes are restricted to 8 participants. The long term aim of these sessions is to strengthen the body so that clients can move into a standard Improvers class during the first year. If you have a chronic condition it is advisable to have occasional private or studio sessions to help you access the correct movement patterns to complete the exercises well.

These weekly classes run for pregnant women from 16 weeks to confinement. They focus on keeping toned and strong whilst ensuring that good posture and balance are maintained. Breathing and relaxation techniques are taught to help with labour. Class size is kept at 8 to enable good social interaction and enable the class to be taught with a high level of supervision.
